Crackling Fire, Dazzling Ice
The winter issue of Innside New Jersey

Historic Mount Holly has found a way to spice up the winter season with its annual Fire & Ice Festival. The "fire" refers to a chili cook-off open to amateurs and professionals with public tastings taking place in the afternoon at the Relief Fire House, the oldest continuously operating firehouse in the country.

After you've put a little fire in your belly, stroll through Mill Race Village and the Business District for the Ice Carving Festival. Carvers of all skill levels get creative with 300-pound blocks of ice.
