If you’re planning to head to New Jersey to celebrate Labor Day, now is a good time to start making arrangements; particularly when it comes to where to stay.
The Garden State has much to offer in every region. You’ll want to find a bed and breakfast or inn that’s close to the type of holiday you have in mind. While the list of events is just getting started, it’s expected to balloon by September. Labor Day falls on Monday, September 1st this year.
So far, we know that:
- ScanFest will return to Morris County on August 31st. The Nordic Festival is the largest on the East Coast and will mark its 30th year.
- Wildwoods will have a full Labor Day weekend with concerts, restaurants, fishing tournament and more.
- The Mayor’s Labor Day Race will take place on September 1st.
There will also be various parades and fireworks across different cities. To get information on different events, visit: http://bestofnj.com/n-j-labor-day-weekend.
