The largest Cherry Blossom display in the United States takes place in New Jersey in April. For the second year, visitors are expected to flock to New Jersey from all over to catch a glimpse of the pale pink blooms.
From April 11- 22 Branch Brook Park, which spans from Belleville to Newark and encompasses more than 2,700 Japanese cherry blossom trees, is in full bloom during the yearly Cherry Blossom Festival.
This week long festival includes a 10K race, trolley bus tours, and Japanese cultural activities, like demonstrations on origami, bonsai, ikebana, as well as martial arts.
The festival is just one of the many happenings throughout New Jersey that highlights the natural beauty of the Garden State.
