Visit the Gateway Region

The New Jersey Gateway region is located in the northeastern area of the state. This region is home to the Statue of Liberty, which for so many immigrants to this country has represented the “Gateway to Freedom.” Spend a day exploring the Liberty State Park, and enjoy the many acres of parklands, views of the Statue of Liberty, Ellis Island, New York City, and the Hudson River. No trip to New Jersey’s Gateway Region would be complete without experiencing the excitement of the Meadowlands Complex in East Rutherford, NJ.

Cheer your favorite team to victory, become enthralled by the speed of the thoroughbred racers, or enjoy a family fun-filled evening at one of the many Ice shows, concerts or other family events. Another attraction that is perfect for a family outing is a day spent at the Liberty Science Center. This three-story center is filled with permanent exhibits, interactive displays and is home to the largest IMAX Theater in the country!

New Jersey Inns would like to invite you to stay at one of our bed and breakfasts. Our innkeepers will make sure your stay is comfortable and memorable, adding a special touch of charm and hospitality.
