While many people think of March and instantly think of Spring or St. Patrick’s Day, New Jersey has two festivals that many locals look forward to every year, like:
The Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival
Now in its 10th year, the Atlantic City Beer and Music Festival with the Community Food Bank of New Jersey has numerous fun activities and helps to support a worthy cause. This year the event takes place over two-days: Friday, March 20th and Saturday, March 21st at the Atlantic City Convention Center in Atlantic City.
There will be more than 1,000 different beers from 150 breweries from across the country, as well as a life size beer pong. The event is also a great opportunity for beer aficionados to taste special “limited release” beers and ales.
NJ Wine and Food Festival
The New Jersey Wine and Food Festival, now in its 7th year, is designed to give foodies and wine lovers a chance to meet with chefs, winemakers, sommeliers and others. The event takes place from Friday, March 20th through Sunday, March 22nd in Hamburg.
Perhaps the most popular event is the Grand Tasting, which takes place on Saturday night. More than 30 top chefs from New Jersey and New York City will join leading wineries and distilleries from around the globe. There will also be live music from the David Aaron Orchestra and a silent auction benefiting the James Beard Foundation will top off this culinary gala.
